Разработка урока по английскому языку, тема \»Покупки\».

Задачи:

Практиковать учащихся в чтении, аудировании и устной речи по теме “Покупки”.

Практиковать в умении распознавать и употреблять неличные формы.

Учить строить логические сообщения, используя опорные слова.

Прививать понятия о здоровом образе жизни, умение правильно питаться.

 

План урока

 

I.Начало урока. Организационный момент, приветствие.

Т: First of all let\’s listen to the dialogue and tell what the talkers are planning.

 

A. I say let\’s drop into this supermarket. I must do some shopping.

 

B. OK. And I shall see what I can buy for tea: I\’m afraid there is nothing for it.

 T: Today we are going to speak about shopping, different types of shops.

IV. Аудирование.

 

T: People say: we eat to live. As for Americans, they like to eat. So we can see they live to eat. They also drink a lot. What famous American drinks do you know? Listen to it and guess what drinks it is about.

 

a) The story of \»McDonald\’s\» and \»Coca-Cola\»

 

In 1937 the McDonald brothers, Dick and Mark, opened kittle restaurant in California. They serve hot dogs and milk shakes. In 1945 they have 20 waiters. All the teenagers in town ate hamburgers there. When the 1948 year came they got paper boxes and bags for hamburgers. They put the price down from 30 to 15 cents. There were no more waiters — it was self-service. So it was cheaper and faster.

 

In 1960s the McDonald\’s company opened hundreds of McDonald\’s restaurants all over the States In 1971 they opened restaurants in Japan, Germany and Australia. Now the McDonald\’s company opens a new restaurant every 8 hours. There are more than 14000 restaurants in over 70 countries.

 

The Coca-Cola story began in Atlanta in 1886. John Pemberton invented a new drink. Two of the ingredients were the South American coca leaf and the African cola nut. Pemberton couldn\’t think of a good name for the drink. Finally, Dr. Pemberton\’s partner Frank Robinson suggested the name Coca-Cola. Thirty years later the famous Coca-Cola bottle design first appeared.

 

For many years only Coca-Cola was made. They only introduced new drinks — Fanta, Sprite in 1960s, the recipe of Coca-Cola is secret. Today they sell Coca-Cola in 195 countries. Hundreds of millions people from Boston to Beijing drink it every day. It has the most famous trademark in the world.

\»Enter a Different World\», it says on the doormat, and this is what you do when you visit Harrods in Knightsbridge, London. Harrods is \»the world\’s most celebrated store\», says Chairman Mr. Mohamed Al Fayed.

 

In the beginning, though, Harrods was just a small grocer\’s shop. It was opened in 1849 and run by Charles Henry Harrod. His son took over and added medicines and perfumes, as well as fruit flowers, sweets and a van delivery service.

 

Over the years, Harrods has survived a fire, two World Wars and even two bombings. In 198; Harrods moved abroad and opened a branch in Japan and later others in Hong Kong, Singapore an Taiwan, as well as airport shops in most major European cities.

 

Today around 35000 people visit Harrods every day. It has got 300 departments spread over seven floors and employs over 4000 stuff. It also has eight doormen, known as \’Green Men\’, as we as its own fire brigade, security personnel, doctors and nurses.

 

Harrods is the official supplier of certain goods to the Royal Family, and sells everything from clothes to caviar. The Food Halls are still the heart and soul of Harrods. In addition to the nineteen bars and restaurants in the store, there is a bank, a travel agent\’s, a dry cleaner\’s and the biggest ha and beauty salon in Europe.

 

January and July are very busy months for Harrods because they are sale times. Over 3000( customers visit the store on the first day alone. Many people sleep outside the store all night to 1 first in when the doors open on the first day.

 

\»All things, for all people, everywhere\» is the store\’s motto. The Harrods name means the best i British quality, service and style. All in all, Harrods is a fascinating place to visit.
