Form: 7 «Ә»
Theme: Advice for language learners.
Objects of the lesson (aims):
— First of all this lesson is aimed at revising the grammar (Comparative adjectives), to teach students to listen to the recorder for understanding;
— to practice working themselves and in pairs;
— to develop the skills of speaking;
— to educate tendency for learning foreign languages.
The methods of the lesson: question-answer, group work, individual work.
Teaching aids: active board, CD, cards.

I Organization moment.
Greeting. Talking to whole class.
— Good morning, students!
II. Phonetic drill.
— I’ll read a poem two times, and you must put your sentences in right order.

VII. Vocabulary. Language learning.
Go through the words in the box with the class. Students work in pairs and try to work out the meaning of each word o phrase.

Advice for language learners
It can sometimes be a little difficult to learn a foreign language. But there are things you can do.
When you speak a foreign language, it’s normal to have an accent. It’s OK – other people can usually understand. It’s a good idea to listen to cassettes and try to _______ other speakers, to make your pronunciation better.
If you see a new word and you don’t know what it _______ you can sometimes ________ the meaning from words you know, or you can ________ the word in a dictionary.
